I found this website a few years ago by chance. It is a Texas website that is used to help students achieve on standardized assessments. Here is the direct link: http://www.shsu.edu/~txcae/readingless.html...or click here.
It has a lot of different skills from Reading Skills to Language Skills.
Not only does it have a variety of assessments or practice tests per skill, but it also has a pre-test and a post test available for each!
All you have to do is click on the link and it will pull up a window with the assessment. Here is a snapshot of one of the inferencing assessments.
I just copy and paste the entire assessment over into a Word document. I have used these for assessments, skills groups, independent practice, modeling, even homework! Some are better than others, and some may not match how the skill is assessed in your state. But, overall it is an awesome resource that hopefully you will find as useful as I do!
It also has math! Click here for Math.
What resources do you use to assess our students in Reading/Language?

What an awesome resource!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing - I will definitely be exploring this more in the coming weeks.
